About

For Flock's Sake is a grassroots commentary site about automated license-plate readers (ALPRs), the companies that sell them, and the communities that never got asked. We started in Idaho, and we're built for anyone, anywhere in the US, who wants to know who's watching their street.

Our mascot is a sheep in sunglasses. Because we're not going to be herded.

What we do

• Map community-reported cameras using open OpenStreetMap data.
• Share cited news about the ALPR debate.
• Give people templates to ask questions and show up.
