Abington Township, PA
The Abington Township Police Department is ending its Flock contracts over data-security concerns after thousands of the department’s searches appeared in public dumps, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported August 19, 2026. One contract expired in August 2026; the department will let the second expire in February 2028. Officials said they are negotiating with other vendors to replace Flock. This is an expire / vendor-swap path, not a clear exit from ALPR.
