Aug 2026 · Contract canceled
Sullivan County, TN
Sheriff Jeffrey Cassidy suspended the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office’s 10 Flock cameras on August 17, 2026. On August 20 the County Commission voted 18–0 not to renew the Flock contract. WJHL (via Yahoo) reported the resolution was amended to say Flock cameras would not be used within the county, excluding Kingsport and Bristol police cameras. The contract ends in January 2027. Elections administrator Jason Booher said the commission cannot place Cassidy’s requested referendum on the ballot.
