Federal judge: a deputy's warrantless Flock search violated the Fourth Amendment
In United States v. Kyle (N.D. Okla.), Judge Sara E. Hill suppressed evidence after a deputy pulled a month of a driver's location history, with no reason beyond an out-of-state plate. The ruling binds only that case, and most courts so far have ruled the other way.
