Richmond, Virginia won't renew its Flock license-plate reader contract
Mayor Danny Avula said the city will not renew when the contract ends June 30, 2027, citing Henrico's exit and lost regional value. The 99 fixed cameras stay on until then, and the city hasn't ruled out another ALPR vendor. Flock gunshot detectors are not affected.
