Georgetown, Kentucky council votes 5-3 to suspend Flock cameras during a technology review
The City Council voted Monday night to immediately suspend active Flock camera operations while it consults independent legal, cybersecurity, and community experts. Council members debated whether police could keep using the cameras without sharing data outside the city; the council chose a full suspension. Council member Michael Crisp, who made the motion, said the vote was about good governance, not taking tools from officers.
