Midland, Texas votes unanimously to end its Flock contract
City Council voted Tuesday to terminate the agreement and remove the city's Flock cameras (about 71 units). Officials said ending before the January 2027 billing date saves $225,500; the city gives 60 days' written notice and faces no early-termination fee. The vote follows privacy concerns and Texas's state funding pause for ALPR gear.
