Marshall County, Indiana council votes 4-3 to end its Flock contract by Dec. 31
After weeks of dispute over whether the council could defund the cameras, members voted 4-3 on a resolution canceling the county's Flock contract at year-end. The county prosecutor had argued the council lacked authority to cancel; the council's attorney said state law gives the council appropriation power over the funds. Nearby Kosciusko County terminated its Flock contract early in September.
