Flock CEO says the company hasn't fired any police department customers
At TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 in San Francisco, CEO Garrett Langley told TechCrunch that Flock has not ended a contract with a law-enforcement customer over product misuse. He said the company would "fire" a customer immediately if it knowingly broke the law, and that ending a customer relationship remains on the table for drastic cases, but that Flock has debated whether cutting off a whole agency over a few officers' abuse would hurt communities that rely on the tools for crime investigations. Langley also said Flock has no desire to sell the company, including to Axon. Outside the venue, protesters demonstrated against Flock's cameras. TechCrunch noted Flock does not have a direct ICE contract and that ICE has reportedly accessed Flock data through local partners.
