Toledo, Ohio council falls short of the votes to take up its end-Flock resolution; measure delayed two weeks

Toledo City Council did not take up Resolution R-435-26 at its Oct. 20, 2026 meeting, 13abc (WTVG) reported. The resolution asks the mayor to terminate and not renew all city agreements with Flock, remove or deactivate Flock equipment, and delete Flock-generated data consistent with the law (DocketCity). Taking it up immediately under suspension of the rules needed nine yes votes; council members Morris, Sarantou, Williams, Martinez and McPherson voted against doing so, which delays the measure two weeks (13abc, The Blade). The resolution was introduced by council members Komives, Gadus, Driscoll, Jones and Kramer (DocketCity agenda).
