Delavan, Wisconsin council votes 7-1 to cancel Flock; all nine cameras taken down the next day
Delavan's Common Council voted 7-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, to cancel the city's contract with Flock Safety, and city crews removed all nine Flock cameras on Wednesday (TMJ4). The vote also means the city will not buy license plate readers from other companies in 2027 (TMJ4). Delavan had bought nine Raven readers from Flock and agreed to pay about $27,000 a year for maintenance (TMJ4); the council packet says ending service still requires paying this year's full amount (Delavan agenda packet).
